Vintage Early 80s Dooney & Bourke Brown AWL Pebbled Leather Tote Bag Purse A rare vintage bag from the Earlier Years of Dooney & Bourke! Large Sized Bag Early AWL (All Weather Leather) bag (early 1980s) (see description further below about identifying traits of Dooney & Bourke handbags) This bag is a more rare vintage find from the early 80s. You will note that the fob in that era was made of solid brass with a stylized backward D and a B. The leather has been very lovingly used and the bag well worn so the leather does show vintage wear. All and all though the leather and the quality of this bag will take a new owner through many more years in vintage style. There are some stains, variations in the leather and wear throughout (more so on the bottom edges and bottom of the bag where it sits down). There is one small spot where the leather is ripped on one of the bottom edges of the bag. The handles, especially at the tops show darker variations in the leather from use. The stitching is good and the inside of the bag is fairly clean with no stains or rips. It's just had a hint of lint that we will remove.
